Why it happens
The usual causes
Sometimes Google simply can’t see the site: a setting left on “don’t index” from when it was built, a missing sitemap, or a site that only shows its content after JavaScript runs. These are quick to check and quick to fix.
More often, Google can see the site but doesn’t think it’s the best answer. The pages are thin, the titles are vague, it’s slow on a phone, and there’s no Google Business Profile backing it up locally. No single fix changes that; doing the basics properly does.
An honest note: nobody can guarantee a ranking. What I can do is make sure nothing technical is holding you back and that every page clearly answers what people search for.
